"Sweet!," oil on canvas, not yet stretched

I'm strangely fond of this one. The perspective didn't come out realistically, but it still works. And it looks kind of rich. I think this will be best square.

  2. Hi Silvi. You know, I'm trying to pay attention to which parts of the painting process bring me that excitement that displaces sleep, and this process is closer to that. There's something that feels right going on with this series, and I'm even seeing things that hearken back to stuff I did in college lo! these many (many) years ago.

  3. Connie I love this. Everything is done so well. The orange has that semitransparent juicy feeling and the knife and plate and pattern...I just can't say enough.:)
